honda says cool blue bulbs are high intensity?
I took my car in to get headlights reaimed (after adding subs and clearing lights) and they said it was about 4 inches too high. After fixing it, they commented that I may still get flashed because the bulbs are high intensity! IMO, cool blue bulbs are not that bright. Maybe a little whiter, but it's still harder to see the road, especially in bad weather.
Just goes to show that sometimes dealers NEVER know what the f**k they are talking about. They can't tell ricer-whites from H.I.D.
Those bulbs are no brighter than stock, only slightly whiter. The only reason you'd get flashed IS the angle of the headlight... not cuz of a $17 bulb that tries to mimic a $400-$600 headlight system. Whether you have H.I.D.s or aftermarket blue bulbs, it all depends on the angle of the headlight.

Maybe the guy just really doesn't know much about all the aftermarket bulbs that all us ricers stick in our headlights. You know, most people don't even pay any attention nor does it ever cross their mind. He just new they were different and they do look brighter after staring at stock honda bulbs all day.
Lastly, why rag on the dealers. They may give you the runaround and charge you out the **** but that's their job. Those techs work on hondas all day, everyday. Most of them know what the hay they are doing and could fix your car in their sleep. I know all us boys wish we super-star tuners and mechanics but let's not let fantasy blur into reality. People bolt-on a few parts and think they know more than the honda mechanics themselves. Please!

Measure from the ground to the centers of your headlight bulbs.
Then make a mark on the wall 6 1/2" lower than the headlight centers.
Then adjust your headlights: If you have a flat beam cutoff, then adjust the top of the cutoff to line up with the mark on the wall. If your lights don't have cutoffs, alighn so the bright spot centers on the mark on the wall.
It's easier if you do one light at a time while covering the one you aren't adjusting. Do this on low beam only.

I'm not saying my dealer is bad, just that the bulbs are oem "cool blue" sylvania and not high intensity ricer lights. They're not even hyper white. By the way, I like my dealer a lot. They just did some major remodelling and all the service techs and salesmen are super nice.
