The kit is just a resistor that modifies the voltage signal from you O2 sensor to your ECU, making it think the air is colder than it is, which will make your engine run rich.
if it is too good to be true, it's too good to be true. Why would anyone only charge 4.00 dollars if they can deliver 20 more HPs. I have seen this on ebay even for 99 cents.
actually this is true. It seems a little bogus but it does work my friend had it in his ford contour and he had immediate response. The chip tricks your engine to think that the are you are gretting in your engine is cold air. The only drawback is that since it controls your air to fuel ratio, your gas will get guzzled quick. Thats the only reason my friend took it out of his car. It eats up your gas like you were driving an suv or something.
