new AEM SRI:
i just installed my new AEM SRI this morning and it only took about 20 min to remove old and install new. it was easy except for trying to get the IAT sensor to connect the wires werent long enought sao i had to kinda pull to get more slack. another pain in the butt was putting the 5/8 hose on the engine connector it took about 5 min and alot of muscle to do. but i got it on finally. anyways i just wanted to tell everyone that its sounds sweet. especially when you turn it off and you hear the ssssssssssssssssssss........ sound sounds like turbo.

Yall need to chill out. He was just saying what it sounded like. You dont have to take it to the extreme. HATERS! I feel you with the short ram intake. With the sensor, the best thing to do is cut the clip that hold the sensor. It will free up some slack and be just right.

I installed mine too yesterday and ran into some problems like a freakin piece was missing so i used the stock intake tube rubber thing to hold them together worked pretty good, but the Iat sensor was no problem for me, and the sound is awesome
P.S. Dont rush into instaling anything like I did becuase you will run into problems

i didnt rush, i did break the clip to extend the sensor out and my friend has talon with stage 2 turbo and when he turns his off it does the sssssssssssss sound. theres no HP gains or real benifits besides sound but it shure does sound damn good to me. thats my final mod i do to my car, as for now im happy with limo tint, 18's (soon to be 19'' racing harts), neons, cd player, and intake, anthing more and it'lbe ghetto .
