Whats the difference? All I know that mandrel piping's the best way to do a custom one. But what does it mean?

crush has bends and "pits" inside the pipe that can restrict airflow and such
mandrel bent doesnt have any of those bends inside the pipe, meaning obstacle-free airflow

I think it's the way they bend the pipe. Mandrel is a way of forming it and allowing for max air flow, where as crush is just like a regular pipe bender and causes bulges and stuff in the pipe, when they bend it.
At least that's what I think. It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong though.

mandrel bent = pipe diameter is the same throughout all the curves and bends
crush bent = pipe diameter gets smaller where it is curved or bent
Exactlly
Exactly how bad is crush bent piping? I went to a *really* ghetto place to get my piping done cheaply, and although they didn't speak much english, I watched them do it, and I'm pretty sure it was crush bent. Should I get it redone someday? I don't care so much as the .25 gain in horsepower, I just don't want to LOSE horsepower or for it to sound crappy, or mess something up? (Did that make sense...)
