Whats the diff between crush and mandrel?
Whats the difference? All I know that mandrel piping's the best way to do a custom one. But what does it mean?

Rep Power: 336 crush has bends and "pits" inside the pipe that can restrict airflow and such

Rep Power: 0 I think it's the way they bend the pipe. Mandrel is a way of forming it and allowing for max air flow, where as crush is just like a regular pipe bender and causes bulges and stuff in the pipe, when they bend it.

Rep Power: 0 Exactly how bad is crush bent piping? I went to a *really* ghetto place to get my piping done cheaply, and although they didn't speak much english, I watched them do it, and I'm pretty sure it was crush bent. Should I get it redone someday? I don't care so much as the .25 gain in horsepower, I just don't want to LOSE horsepower or for it to sound crappy, or mess something up? (Did that make sense...)
