xenon is the gas that burns inside the bulbs as a plasma arc. There's all kinds of brands that use that.[hr]

The Eurolites and other imitation HID colored bulbs you refer to are just Halogen bulbs with regular filaments and maybe a little xenon gas inside so they can call them "Xenon".
Point: You can have a bulb which contains xenon gas and with a tungsten filament that burns. NOT TRUE HID
Or: You can have a bulb which contains xenon gas and no filament, but a high intensity arc discharge, and that would be TRUE HID.

Who said Eurolites? Xenon is the generic name for the gas that is in true HID bulbs. It's the Xenon arc that provides the bright white ligh as opposed to filaments that are burinin in Halogen bulbs. There are several brands of HID that use Xenon arc, such as Philips, Hella, and others. What I'm saying is that "Xenon" is not a brand name, but a generic term as applied to true HID lights. It's the medium that allows the High Intensity Discharge (HID) arc that makes the lights glow. See?

Most of the time they are so bright you don't even need high beams. If you get projectors then you can wire in the separate high beam so it will work to give you a little extra light. I kinda still want to do this with my angel eye projectors, but I dunno if it will be worth 600 to say I have HID and see an extra 20 feet with my headlights.

has anyone installed an HID kit with the TYC projectors? I was wondering how they hold up to the extra heat and also how to install it so that you can still keep the high beam??? I am really itching to get the conversion but still hesitant. Any help would be appreciated....thanks
i hear nokya HID's have the most beautiful illumination out of any brand, but they're pretty expensive.
i'm thinking about getting the hella dual-beam HID conversion in 6000k so i don't lose my hi beams.

You are correct on the brand name for your HID's. It is in fact XENON. I have an H1 7000k kit from them. It is so unbelievably bright. You are also right in one of your previous posts when you said that you though it is the same company that BMW uses. XENON is in fact the company that produces HID kits for BMW.
