Anyone know where to purchase this other than from Tsunami? I'm talking about the "flush" rear spoiler for the trunk, not the roof one.

You can purchase the Tsunami spoiler at www.Modacar.com, it will run you 235. i was thinking of getting the same spoiler for my car. If you get it and have it on, send me some pics and that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks man.

I just ordered the Tsunami window spoiler and the trunk flush mount spoiler from ShowstoppersUSA.com for $329 shipped (yeah, 2 spoilers for that price). Talk to Chuck. You can reach them at 818-243-0954 or email him at chuck@showstoppersusa.com.

Also ordered the Octane front bumper at the same time for a package price of $578 for all three components.

Just one more alternative,

Terry

When you go to paing them Tsunami spoiers, be sure to follow the sealing instructions. If you don't fill the pores they will pinhole like mad. Had to do mine over a couple times to get a smooth surface.

I will be buying that spoiler in the future. What do they tell you to do in those sealing instructions exactly?

There is a whole list of prep stuff that supposedly is a California quality standard. I don't have the list any more, but it is about 6 or 7 steps to prep. The main thing is the cleaning steps to remove plastisizers and then seal really well. Just cleaning, priming and painting will give lots of pinholes. My body shop did their standard OEM urethane parts procedure and ended up doing several coats before all the pin holes filled in.

Another thing is to make sure they "eyeball" match the paint. The standard book color code for mine (tafetta white) came out much bluer than the actual car. I ended up giving them my stock grill to match to. That turned out ok.

Finally was contacted by my old Tsunami source, NRG-Racing who has it for $220 +$20 shipping. I've dealt with them before and had good results. Did you say the prep instructions come with the spoiler?

Well my Tsunami connection fell through so I guess I'll go with one of the suppliers mentioned in this thread, Modacar.com or Showstoppers.com. Either one of you guys who suggested these places received the order yet? Good service, package in good shape, etc.?

SQcivic,

I should be receiving my order today or tomorrow from Showstoppers. It's being sent via Oak Harbor freight. Upon receiving it and checking it over, I can re-post to this thread to let you know if everything went well.

Nonetheless, thus far, I have been pleased with the service I've received from Showstoppers. I've been dealing with a gentleman named Chuck.

Later,

TJ

Supposedly my parts should be delivered to me at work today. I'll have to post once I've gotten them.

If you purchase from ShowStoppersUSA, you can get the Tsunami Rear Window spoiler and Flush trunk spoiler for $329 shipped. (at least that's what I ended up getting it for)

Be sure to follow that list of cleaning, prepping, and painting instructions. Their plasic is really particular about that.

Also make sure you sand off any overspray that may have got in the little channel where the tape goes. Otherwise it won't stick.

The window spoiler is attached with "super sticky" 3M double-sided tape. The trunk spoiler is attached with 4 screws into the stock spoiler location AND the double-sided tape. The quality of both pieces are EXCELLENT! Pre-fitment suggests that they'll look very good together.

My car is Satin Silver (just like the pic's on Tsunami's website).

The Octane front bumper is going to need some TLC to smooth out some of the inconsistencies but once that's done, it should add a really nice touch.
