if you think its a waste then don't buy it, your loss i guess!! I have the coils and I think they helped out a lot.. I've posted many time before that I have them and I love them.... Pair those with the denso iridium IK20's and you have one hell of an ignition. I noticed smoother acceration, a little better gas mileage, faster engine starts, and quicker revs. The engine didn't seem to struggle as much through each gears. One time I took the coils off because an LED burnt out and I put my stock coils back on and I liked the performance better when I put the plasma coils back on. Its hard to describe exactly all the things about them, just get them, and install them to see for yourself. I got mine here which I think is the only place and they cost about $500

As with any performance mod, 50% of it is real increase in performance and 50% of it is all in your head. Because you got something new for the car it feels like it goes faster in your head also.
