Is this factory?
i took off the heat shield on the exhaust manifold and saw this. I painted it because I thought it would look cool, but didn't use high heat paint
now it's flaking off. Is this the factory exhaust manifold? It looks like a 4 to 1 header.

Not sure about the EX, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't look like that. That appears to be an aftermarket header.

that looks like a factory header to me, the thing that gives me that impression most of all is the fact that the welds between the pipes and the main plate are not visible, meaning they are inside the joint of the pipes and the main manifold peice, which is a method used on our stock headers, however most (perhaps all) aftermarket ones do not use that AFAIK.

Is also why the dc sports civic only gets 5 ponies out of a header, cat back, and intake. I have been trying to tell people this forever. The DC sports header is not worth the money unless you are just going for show!
