Replacing 5spd tranny
from what i understand if its the almost identical engines... like d17 for instance.... the trannys are interchangable.... so would putting an lx tranny in my ex be benificial? am i wrong? some one please explain this to me... i wanna know if it is possible, if so how much do these trannys run for, or could i just change the gear ratios easily?

i had my tranny rebuilt by the dealer. dont know how much it cost them under warranty. i think they did something bc its hard as heck to chirp second since i got it back, maybe the roads are just cold and the tires are cold. could the dealer have screwed me like this?

by now, since you are complaining that its hard to chirp 2nd, im gonna guess that you smashed the bearings to pieces.
read the section about shifting
you dont even grip the shifter at all.
