He said that he just unbolted the hinges and placed the hood on top of the windshield. It doesn't actually open like that. I'm sure he would give you more info if you pm him.

- Unbolt the bolts on the hood that hold it to the hinge.
- Disconnect the washer squirter lines
- Have buddy help you lift hood off of car
- Place hood *carefully* on the windshield

How hard is that? There's no special way in which the hood is opening.

It is a kit that is made by a company whose name I cannot remember. Someone from that company posted up threads announcing the kit for our cars. Im not sure if acekicker has that kit, but I know that kit will allow you to have your hood like that.
The hood needs to be taken off and placed on mounts. You can't have it open and close in that position.

doesnt even seem like that hard of thing to build yourself. its basically all about hinges that are on the hood and the frame, and a bar of some sort which will allow the hood to either flip-flop, or open regularly. id design one myself if i had the time and the interest.

Acekicker don't have any hinges to put his hood this way.... !!! Just unbolt and put the hood carefully on the windshield....look everywhere...he tell's it everywhere in here...

There is a way to open the hood this way...I haven't found a company that talk about it...and I thought about it...this is not that hard to do....I'll do something with my hood this summer...I'll post some pics in spring...!!
