Interesting Brake info that I got from fast brakes

Ok, I wrote this company called "Fast Brakes" yesterday to see if they had a brake kit/rear disc conversion kit too, and this is what they said:

The 2001 Civic uses the same front upgrades as the 90-
2001 Integra. You can either use the 11" rotors with
the ITR/Accord wagon/98+ Accord V6 calipers as the
inexpensive upgrade or you can go with the 4 piston
kit. I also make an 11.75 or 12.2" 4 piston kit for
the car.

The 11" rotors are $70 each.
The 11.75/12.2" kits are $1025.

You can swap the rear drum to the rear discs from the
new Si. You will need the rear hub/spindle assemblies
as well as the calipers, rotors, and parking brake
cables...
thanks

RedDragon333 will become famous soon enough
Well Venom if you pull this swap off your gonna need some stopping power so i say go for the kit upgrade i did it with my front end and everyone notices a difference so the rear would be a great investment. In the near future im getting the AEM rear upgrade to match my front.

man tha'ts good stuff

but let me make sure i understand this right. i can get the front calipers from a ITR/Accord wagon/98+ Accord V6 add those on top of some 11" rotors probably some brembo cross drilled or something and that's the fron set . then to convert the back i get the back brake system from an si i find in the junkyard and all the neccesary stuff for that. and then install..

IMO the front conversion sounds worth it if i get a good used set of calipers and rotors.

so that means that the AEM big brake kit isn't the only option?

My hybrid Civic stops just perfectly fine with the stock discs in the front and stock drums in the rear. A rear disc conversion would be nice, but I just don't think the cost and trouble warrants it (at least for me). In addition to replacing the rear hubs, calipers, and rotors, you'll also most likely need an appropriate new master cylinder and probably will need to do some work on the brake lines.
