Exhaust question

If I don't like the go-cart sound of most exhausts is it worth me getting one. I want the horsepower benefits of it and the look but I hate the sounds. Also, will Intake give me that annoying sound even with stock exhaust.

it all depends on what u want to do.
as for the intake, its going to make it a lil deeper and more growly, but not too much.

well, if you got cat-back you will have a deep and, depending on the companry, quiet or loud sound. if you go muffler then it will not sound as good and you may be disappointed in the sound. the intake will give it a great sound. deeper, louder, ect. very nice sound from the intake.

I dunno what you're trying to say rcamp9, but I believe every aftermarket exhaust will give you that bumble-bee sounds. Hell, if you get a bumble-bee sound you're lucky...otherwise you'll sound like a weed-whacker. Lemme guess, you're coming from a domestic car or dometic friends?

PEST have you ever heard any of the higher quality exhausts for our cars? I haven't heard any that sound "bumble-beeish", the custom piping jobs almost always sound worse than anything prefabricated. Stick with name brand stuff to be safe.

I did a 2.25 custom cat-back with borla straight through muffler. Sounds better than anything else I've heard and cost 1/2 as much. All our cars sound like bees at 7k, even my '69 Mach 1.
