$6,600, everything you need. Battery relocated to trunk, dyno tuned, everything.

Call Jotech at 972-278-9744 or PM Tony1 on this site (that's the guy that actually built the kit)

$6600 for a turbo? that's insane!

i thought it might be a little cheaper cuz you are buying everything yourself. the most expensive part should be fabricating the exhaust manifold. piping shouldnt be that muc right? man, i totally mistook how much it would cost for this thing.
i mean, you can get a turbo kit for a d17 for about 2-3k right? why so expensive for our car?

btw: what's your e.t.?

so much more has to go into a turbo set up for our car other then just popping on a manifold and everything and calling it good. u can do that, but thats what makes "measly" gains. riceburner went from 101 whp to 197whp at 8psi which is safe. thats impressive especailly for our engine. im in talks with another company right now about doing a custom job on mine and trust me it takes a lot. first off its all about our fuel system. riceburner didnt convert his to return, he worked around it, but i would be converting mine if i did this. then ill have my OBD 2 converted back to OBD 1 so the car will accept boost without the check engine light getting pissed. its a lot of stuff to do to our cars to make them run good. 6600 is a lot, but how many people do you know with a turbocharged 7th gen? thats kinda the point behind it, being original.

Don't worry, I agree with your analysis that it's a lot to pay, but I definitely wouldnt call it a measly gain. Assuming the claims are back by dyno tests, he says he was getting 101hp at the wheels, and now with 8psi boost, he's getting 197hp at the wheels. That's almost double!! If that's measly, I dunno what you're looking for.
