Electric Supercharger

Hi guys,

I drive a 7th Gen Civic (VTi) Manual (1493cc with VTEC) in Singapore. Came from an ad selling an electric supercharger, which promises a lot.

Just wanna ask you guys in the States, have any of you guys put such things, and how is the performance gains/losses?

Yes, most of the time they're more of a restriction in the intake. I have computer fans that spin faster.

yeah that ES stuff is crap for sure, im surprised if it really doesn't work that well then why do they still have it in the market, i guess you can make money off the nieve.

er.. its a gimmick. it doesn't do anything to performance... and its rather dangerous to have moving parts in your intake pipping...

what happens if one of the fan snaps? youll find it flying in your throttle body.

dont get it. stay away from it.
