JDM headlight differences?

Did, search, found nothing. Aside from obviously not having the amber shield in the housing, is there any significant difference between JDM hybrid headlamps and the USDM headlamps? I know there are significant obvious differences in the JDM hybrid tails and they are my next purchase, but if i just clear my headlamps, will you be able to tell the difference between them and the real JDM part? If i buy both parts at the same time i will be saving a bit on shipping and get a better price on the parts, so i would appreciate if anyone can help. thanks.

it's not the housings, but rather some JDM civics have stock HID's

I heard that the problem with JDM headlights is the way the reflective surface is aimed. Since our oncoming traffic is on the left, our headlight shine a bit to the right as to not blind them. I heard that for JDM, since their oncoming traffic is the opposite, their shine angle is opposite too.

So basically if you put theirs on our cars or ours on their cars, you'd shine oncoming traffic a little more. Not sure how true it is, but I remember reading it before.

I was going to buy these myself, until a dealer in Japan offered $125 for ONE side headlamp. Or he said they have the whole HID kit which will make the price higher and requires more work then just snap off/snap on.

Then I thought, I'd rather go through the trouble of clearing my headlamps than purchasing the set for $250.
