body kits

ok so I have been toiling over this for awhile... to body kit or not to body kit.. I really really like the wings west G5 except for that little chunk that jets out in front of the door.. anyhow back when I first bought my car that was one of the first things I was going to do then I called a body shop and they said they fit everything and then paint it... the body kit.. no the whole car.. and it was like 1200.00 I'm wondering is this what everyone else has had to do if the didn't want the stylish two tone primier look ??

Paint + Install for most bodykits is $1500-$2000 for a high quality install/paint.

Would that include having the sideskirts and bumpers actually molded onto the car?

I got the Xenon front getting the sides soon, it's really ez to install urself, I have a friend that is gonna paint mine all i have to do is pay for supplies. I recomment installing yourself, save a couple bucks, takes up a bit of your time though.

You paint it off the body also, you get the paint code off the side of the door, unless your getting it totally repainted a differnet color, I don't know why they body shop would paint would paint the whole car over again.

the shop near me charges 250-300 to install body kits and paint them. teh price really depends on color and fit. i have a black car so it was only 250 cuz they didn't do much matching. excellent job. most places around here charge 250-500 for install and paint,

I understand the price to paint and all.......but how much is it to have the kit molded to the car so that there are no spaces or breaks between the panels?
