Indiglo Guages
I bought some 6 color indiglo gauges off E-Bay from ProCarParts.Com a lil while back and finally got them installed today. When the installer got finished he told me he checked them and that they light up and the dimmer works but they wont change to any other color than green. Ima lil pissed because I got them so they would light up blue at nite. He said it was probably the button that changes the color is bad. Is there any place that just sells the dimmer/color switch or do I have to try and buy new gauges again.

yeah, i got a different kind of gauge than what you got and they had the same problem, SpeedlineZone (or Redline Zone, they keep changing their name) told me to send them back, so i did. The post office says they recieved them on Oct. 12, Speedline zone says they haven't recieved them and they only answer at least one in 50 e-mails i send them. I'm about ready to take some legal action. They won't tell me anything!

You can order the switch here if it comes down to it.

I got the 2 color gauges from Procarparts, was able to change the colors. The switch I have is a flat panel with push buttons, and when i was installing it i couldn't change the color. When i installed the switch onto a hard surface it started working, it need the backing to make a good connection. don't know if you have the same switch or not, but hope this helps

The switch is flat with 2 buttons the top being dimmer and bottom which is supposed to be color change, it had 3m tape on the back and its stuck to the right of the steering wheel kinda behind the wiper control, so it is like stuck to a surface but i might try to go and unstick it and paste it somewhere else to just see. I checked out the link to get a new inverter and they only sell them if you have the 2 color, Ive got the 6, could I use the same one or do I have to find one for the 6 colors.
I don't know if you can use the 2 color or not. I have mine mounted on the inside of the cover that goes over the fuse panel, under the steering wheel. The other thing is you have to hold the buttons down and wait for it to change. It doesn't just click from one to the next, it will transition over.

If it would stop raining here ima try to move the inverter switch to someplace better. Ill try to hold the button down, does it take forever to change or does it swap pretty fast once its held down.

Tried holding the buttton forever and just for a lil while and it didnt start changing at all Why cant they be stuck on blue insted of that hideous green!!!!!! I sent procarparts an email telling them they need to send me a replacement swtich or all new gauges cause they sold me crap. They said they were new gauges in the auction but when the got to my house i opened up the UPS box and there was a ziplock baggie with with the gauge faces and inverter in it no real box or nothing.
