Is there a difference between...

Lower upper strut
rear upper strut
and rear lower strut?

There was a post about this today I think but da*n I can't find it
anyways
When buying these 3 does it matter what brand it is? like skunk2, Dc.. etc?

I know it matters when you buy the upper front stut bar because you need one that fits with a Intake
I am going to buy these 3 things but I don't want to spend too much. I just need a product that gets the job done. And was just wondering are brand names any different then something that is not brand name?

Ok... sorry, but I've been waiting to use that. I'll answer it. The DC ones are for looks. They're hinged and have circles drilled in them to reduce the weight. Unfortunately, it also makes them weak. Get the Neuspeed front bar... Solid construction, I put it in my car last night, 15 minutes. For the lower, Skunk 2 is a good one, I almost bought it, but I've decided I'm going to get the Progress Anti Sway bar (tie and sway bar combo). If you get the Skunk2, there is an option for a Hard anodized coating, which is teflon jacketed, so it'll be pretty scratch resistant. It costs no more than normal. When you buy the good ones, they won't just be for looks. If you're going to push the car hard, then get the good bars, cuz the $30 ebay ones probably aren't going to work too well. But if you just want the look, then the cheapies are fine. Remember that fewer hinges and pieces that make up the bar means that it's stiffer, so look for welded joints or single piece construction, and where applicable, multi-point attachments. As far as the upper rear tie... I think the strut towers are in the floor of the trunk. SO they have the trunk floorpan supporting them, I'm not sure if it would do anything to put a bar between the upper rears.

No namers are known to snap under pressure if you're unlucky, especially on a lowered car not on aftermarket springs, and definitely on a track. You do pay for quality for most brand names. DC is really the only one that's over-priced. Neuspeeds, Tenzos, Skunk2 are all good brands.
