anyone here heard of Import Tech's short ram intake?
Hey all,
Just called my honda dealer and they said they carried some Import Tech short ram intakes for an EX automatic. I couldn't find the company online and they aren't listed on the parts page here. Has anyone heard of/used this company before?

- I think when it comes to short ram intakes, they are pretty much the same when it comes to "gains" and sound. Wayyy back last year Import Tuner said that the Hayame intake was one of the products of the year that produced 4.6 (i think) hp. Does anyone talk about it? no. If its just a short ram intake, probably any of them will work just as well. I have a injen i got for $130, and it sounds
Get whatever is cheapest/what looks good. My .02 cents

a short ram should fit any transmission. since the tubbing doesn't go down any further (where the trannies are located)
I wouldn't spend 110 on a short ram.
for CAI, maybe u should get brand names for the better fit. but for a short ram, just get a cheapy one. it really doesn't matter because there's no gain with a brand name one anyway, just makes sound.
and if anything u can swap out the cheap filter for a better one. and u dont need to worry about fit or etc. because a short ram can be stable enough just with the clamps tighten.
anyhow thats just my opinion. forking out 150 for a brand name short ram... or less than 50 bucks for a no name short ram/cai. (ie: Import tech is a no name too.)
