Does the altezza grill have a gap below the hood?? Will the black cover that is on the stock grill fit on it somehow?? And finally, are they painted black or primed black?? - THX

There is a gap just below the hood. You'll get use to it.
The Back Cover on the stock gill will only fit if you use the sedans one.
Hope it helps.

They are of a black plastic. Not painted and not primed.

I'm planning on getting a grill from either eBay or RSVersion. I guess the question I have is do you guys think I should get the grill and paint it SSM to match, or should I pay more and get the CF grill and leave it alone. Thanx.

Also, since I have a sedan, it should fit properly correct.

Hey guys, I'm in the same situation in looking for a grill... I was wondering how good the one on rsversion would fit. I cant find one on procarparts anymore. But will the RSVersion altezza grill fit okay on the 4door? If not I'll just end up getting the RS Grill...

With the Altezza style grill, there should be no problems putting the radiator cover on with it and with the stock bumper there should be no more gap than there is between the hood and the headlights. This works with either coupe or sedan. This is the plain grill and NOT the RS type or other grills with emblems.

easiest way- take the bumper off. someone said that you didnt have to but that was more of a pain in the a$$ in my opinion, so yea, take the bumper off to do it.

I got the regular Altezza style grill from tornactive... I'm not worried about installation, the body shop is going to do that for me, along with the hood, bumper, tie bar, etc....damn wrecks..
