ZEX Nitrous Kit Question
Hello all,
I am looking into buying a ZEX nitrous kit, I got a pretty good price on one, and was wondering if it would be any good to run on a automatic transmission. If anyone has anything to say please lmk
Thanks
Brian

I believe that zex is a dry system which requires a fuel return line. Our cars don't have one. On our cars you need to use a wet nitrous system. But I've read a few threads about people with the zex system on a 2k1 so I'm not sure.

uh.. why cant we use a dry system? run 50 shots, the comp recognizes theres more air coming from the intake and compensates by giving a little more fuel. i mean if we were running a 200 shot i would understand but i would think a 50 dry shot would work. dry shots arent meant to be run that high anyways... i dunno i'm not too familiar with NOS(do not correct me), but this is my understanding of it.
for the zex kit to work, you do need a fuel return line, you also need an adjustable 1:1 fuel pressure regulator that boosts the fuel pressure when you use the nitrous. THe computer will not adjust for a 50 shot.
I'm not sure if anyone has made a DIY to mod the fuel system like this but that is what you need.
IMO I would go NX. I personally have owned 2 kits and they have been superb in quality, and customer service.
