Simple Air Horn question...

Whats the difference between a FIAMM Highway Blastter and FIAMM 2/3 air horn?
Is the HB just as loud as the air horns? Pitch difference?

I might pick one up this weekend.
Thanks

hey man.

i installed the regular horn (the monster highway blaster). I got it from crappy tire, and it only took about ten minutes to install (5 to get bumper off, 5 to put back on).

it sounds pretty sweet! its really loud (132db's without the bumper), and gets people's attention.

it's also lacking the severe gay-factor that the stock one has.

if you really want loudness, go with the true air-horn. otherwise, just stick with the highway blaster...it's definitely good enough!

The great thing is that they have the complete opposite effect of the OEM clown horn.
Allow me to illustrate:
OEM Clown Horn: Reaction-->
Triple Air Horns: Reaction -->

Results may vary.

Hey tekgnosis, how much was it at Crappy Tire? Is it about double the loudness of the stock horn? Is it a high or low pitch horn, compared to stock?

Hey InanimateCarbonRod, same questions, in $US (if you're in the U.S.).

Thanks guys!!!

I bought the FIAMM Triple Air Horn setup at Pep Boys, $40
If I had to guess, I would say about double the loudness of the OEM.
The triple air horn will emit 3 different pitches, because of the three different trumpet lengths. Imagine the horn on a high end Italian sports car. That's what it sounds like.

Well, after some researching I have decided to go with the FIAMM Highway Blaster horn.
For those that are interested in price, I picked it up at the local Crappy Tire store for $26.99 CDN, CTC product #20-2039-0
I'll be installing this in the next week or two, as I have another mod that is occuring with the bumper off...DIY aluminium lower grill.

Sorry, can't help on the sound clip...I don't have anthing to record it with.l

Btw, I think I'm going to hook up a switch to the FIAMM horn so that it will be used in conjunction with the stock horn when I'm driving. Its a low pitch horn and with the combination of the stock, hopefully it will sound okay.
