I have an OBX custom catback with 2" pipe. Is there a silencer or something I can put in line with the pipe to quiet it down a little. I tried a resonator but that didn't do anything. The thing is I just ordered the kamikaze header and I heard it makes the exhaust tone louder than it already is! so I wanted to put something in to mellow it out some. Any ideas?... It came with the muffler insert "silencer" but that is ugly and it restricts air

Anything that is gonna quiet the car down is most likely gonna restrict the air some.

drop in a couple of glass packs, or order a silencer cone from jegs..its a little screen cone thing that goes in the pipe that silences it out without restricting airflow.

If you want it like that , you should bought an OBX tunable exhaust
