VIS Carbon Fiber hood fitment issues

After more than six weeks of waiting I finally got my invader style CF hood in and installed it myself. But the damn thing sticks up like 1/4 inch from the fenders, you can squeeze your fingers in and read the VIN stickers the gap is so big. The latch is adjusted all the way down and the lil rubber stoppers are turned down as far as they go. I dont see anyway of adjusting so that the hood sinks down more, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help.

There is the reason I ONLY sell HammerHead and DG motorsports.

I bet it shrank due to the extreme heat the past couple days. It has been l known to happen.

I went ahead and ordered a VIS hood because I have actually seen one on a friends 2000 Civic SI and his hood is perfect. I just can't belive the poor quality of the hood I recieved compared to his. Not only does the hood fit very poorly the carbon fiber weave is messed in a few spots, the finish is covered in white spots a couple of which are huge, the edges are crackedlooking and the front part that matches the grill has glue all over it. I couldnt get ahold of NOPI today so I shot them an email, I am sure they will take care of it for me.

That's too bad man!!! It would have looked tight if the fitment was right.
I would make them either send you another one.............or refund your money back!

Good luck man!
