s2000 swap?

well i've read the different threads on engine swapping but i was wondering. what about the F series engine. the one from the s2000 it's a 4 cylinder. i'm not sure about engine mounts or anything. but. why wouldn't it fit. please enlighten me.

there's no need to flame it's just a question if it's been covered sorry. i didn't find it.

Boilermaker1 is a splendid one to behold

the S2k is RWD so they didn't squeeze the tranny under or beside the engine. It's also set up to power a drive shaft, not an axle. You'd have some severe surgery to do, and it still may not fit... even if you tried to convert a Civic to RWD, the hood is still too short.

I think the S2000 engine is inline, where ours is transverse. That could make it a bit more difficult too.

haha k. guess that answers my question. about why no one else talks about the swap but man that would be sweet if someone did.. but yeah. why? jsut get a new car
