Headlamp Bulbs

I know that this is a much talkted about topic and yes I have searched but I keep getting conflicting opinions. I have DIY cleared head lights and I want to replace the head lamp bulb to hyper white. What is the proper size head light. Is it H3 or H4 or neither. Thanks.
What brands would you reccomend besides PIAA that would last a while and wouldn't fry any OEM parts or electrical stuff.

i have had major problems with piaa...i have bought two sets of hyper whites and they burned out in 5 months or less. so i got fed up with buying 65 buck bulbs and took my *** to Target and bought 13 dollar xenon bulbs...so far its been 8 months and they are still great as far as turn signals and parking lights go, go to www.autodynamic.com for those...they have great deals and i got my bulbs 2 days after i ordered them. i just cleared my headlights last week too

civicdude will become famous soon enough
I have the PIAA HID headlamp bulbs and have never had a problem. They are possibly the brightest cleanest lights I have seen aftermarket.
