how come their site said that it is a 1.6 when our car is a 1.7 and the part number is the same as the 1.6? on the aem site, the part number is different from the 1.6 so the cam is slightly different. i don't want to buy a cam that doesn't fit right. here is obx site and aem site. does anyone has obx cam gear?

i can honestly say that there isnt any significant gains from putting on this cam gear. your money will be better spent else where until you have an aftermarket or regrinded camshaft. the only thing this gear will do is either give u more bottom end, or more top end, which ever u adjust towards. and still, once you do that, its not really recommended that you run you car with your timing off from OEM specs, mainly because you can fry ur engine in doing so. some people may have this mod and tell you that they have seen gains, but if u check out my profile under members rides and see the extensive list of mods... i can assure you that this has been the LEAST INFLUENTIAL mod to my car yet... atleast performance-wise. spend your money on something that will make a difference, like a header, or intake, or new plugs, or IGNITION SOLUTIONS power coil paks, or venom 400, or nitrous, or SOMETHING, just dont waste your money on this mod. not until you have major engine work done...
