honda civic 2002 SI seats in our 2dr coupes
honda civic 2002 SI seats in our 2dr coupes
I was at a honda dealership and I noticed how the SI seats were pretty interesting.
has anyone thought about putting them in a 2dr coupe??
I know it might be better off getting momo's or sparcos.....but I figured
the SI seats look pretty decent, not too obvious and they're a guarenteed fit
what you all think?

yep, your right honda charges up the *** for there products, i mean they want $900 for there oem kit when you can go get the kaminari kit for cheaper. And damn $1000 for the si seats I can go get momo seats for cheaper, or if your lucky like me you have a friend go to tailand and hope he brings you some si seats back for $200.
i agree that the price on all of their parts are crazy high but you have to look at what you get on the oem body kits. i know the honda oem kits are all ABS plastic / urethane blends. that is the best kind of kit you can buy. it is the most durable and least flexible. the reason it costs around 1000 is because it is high quality material and it comes pre-painted to match your car. kaminari, etc aftermarket kits are usually fiberglass most of the times (some are urethane but none have ABS) and are not pre-painted to your car. Yes, i know WW will paint their's but its not free.
So i wouldnt be complaining about the cost if you like the OEM kit for your car. I was going to buy the OEM kit for my lude cuz i love the way it looks but get this they dont make it anymore. they were completely out of it across the nation. i could have bought a blue or black one and got it painted (honda would not have paid for the repainting). i dont get it i have a 98 lude in nordic mist metallic (color only available on ludes 97-98) and they dont have the kit for it at the dealer. ITS ONLY 4 Years old! i realize that in 99-01 they changed the color to satin silver (color available on 7th gen civics) but it is still dumb they dont manufacture the kit any more PERIOD in any color.
and thats my rant
