the rear bumper looks weird cause it has that big gap in the middle of it. i like how theres a grill on it tho, kinda reminds me of the lorenzo kits. but ya maybe you guys could fill in the gap in the rear some how...
well, im not 100% down with that kit, because it looks like its going to bite me... haha, jk. im not really down with the fangs and crap, but its not all that bad. however, im very interested in seeing a company like yourself make somethin new for our cars, kinda like that kit, but a great way to make some real profit is to introduce a WIDE BODY KIT for our cars. only W.W. has come up with some fender flares for our cars, and i have to admit, they're ugly as hell !!! maybe get some sketches of a wide-body civic with rounded fender flares, as well as a full box-type widebody. id honestly be willing to draw the sketches for free if i had the skillz, but i draw like crap, so i cant help you with that one. g'luck tho!
oh yah, fyi.... correct me if im wrong, but for all you donors, or considerees.... look at theyre location... CALIFORNIA!!! WEST COAST!!!! unless your willing to drive your car all the way there and then fly back, and then fly back again to pick up your car and drive home again..... you might wanna just keep ur mouth shut. because at that kind of expense out of your pocket, you still have to pay for the body kit, gas, plane tickets, etc....
FYI for team fusion... dude, you really should consider kickin down a kit to the actual car donor. your company is about to pull in some $$$ for a kit that your pretty much designing and making for free. im guessing your drawing was free, or very cheap, and mass quantity fiberglass is relatively CHEAP, so im assuming that with the exception of TIME to build the kit, your PROFITS are going to be high.
FYI for all donors.... make sure you get something back, this isnt worthy unless you get a free kit or some serious cash. i dont care if the donor has 1 car or 10 cars, its still that person's car being sacrificed for prolly atleast a month. SACRIFICES ARE NOT FREE !!! and remember that even when they finish the kit, they will still need the kit to make molds and copies of. so even if they kick u down with a kit for free, you still wont get it for A LONG F * CKING TIME!!!!

Like our first post stated, our manufacturing site is in Irvine, Kentucky--not CA. Please read the first post before replying. Also, if you are not familiar with molds, they are extremely expensive. Also, our production costs per kit will be higher than other companies because we are using at least twice the fiberglass and it will all be hand-laid, not out of a chopper gun. This creates a much higher quality product, but takes much longer to produce. Also, we don't have minimum wage grunt workers laying the fiberglass, but experts that have been working with fiberglass and kevlar for years. Trust us--this is not going to be your average quality kit (cuz that is crap in todays market). Also, the donoree will receive a lot of benefits not listed on here--which we will NOT disclose on here or to the donoree until after the kit is done and on the market. We take care of our own. For our future kits we will have a loner car available for the donoree and other benefits. We decided to start by helping out the 2k1 civic--so far we haven't been received too well. Thank you for all those who have been supportive and have given constructive critisism.

I'm sorry - but all of this does NOT make sense to me. I'm an engineer in the OEM auto parts field, and having a donor PAY to have their car taken for a month sound VERY wrong. If you are willing and able to plunk down the tens of thousands of dollars for proper tooling, I'm sure you can afford the hundred bucks in fiberglass and resin to a kind donor.
Do you honestly expect someone to hand over their keys for a body kit that is still in the "cocktail-napkin" phase of development? I mean, the least you could do is have a proper sketch of the kit, not something that looks sketched on a high-school kid's notebook.
my 2 cents.

uh.. i think that was sketched by a high schooler... look they even have his e-mail add. he probably sent that in to the company, they liked it and decided to post it here. cause ya if you look on fusions site, they have contests and such telling people to send in their drawings of kits they would like to see on the market... thats probably what the artist(or the picture) did, sent it in to fusion hoping to get $50

We have solidified a donor--so we don't need any more offers. Thank you all that offered though. Again, preorders will receive a 10% discount. The latest to preorder will be the 14th. Have a good one all and God bless.
so can the gel coat be painted over? what kind of prep is going to be required to paint this kit? that'd be my big concern because the expensive part is usually the painting. it'd be really nice if you could order the kits already painted to match factory color, like the hondaxs kit.

is this even for real, that looks like crap, it is the wrong year, it only has a crappy front bumper planned, and they want a car for 2-4 weeks and want you to pay for the kit?!? What is the deal-yo-yo
Haaaaa...lots of dipsticks responding like this thread is still being read. The last post before you morons (except breeze who probably commented just to put it in "new posts" and abmerop18 and cdmx ) added anything was 8-22 -2002 you do realize this is 2003 right?
