Face Gsuge Installation
I have been doing some reasearch on installing the indiglo face gauges but it seems that a lot of people have problems with their needles afterward i.e it says your going 20 when your going 70 etc...What are the chances of that happening. Will it only happen if you remove the needles? Thanks.

My needle on my RPM stick on the gauges because i didn't put enough glue behind them to hold them down. So now the gauges rub against the needle and make it stick.
T.V. is bad for you. Go outside.

Hey I put mine in no prob and even took off the needles. I know this is stupid but I adjusted the tack by holding the car almost wide open so it would hit the limiter and set the tack there. As for the speedo it was an educated guess that paid off. Had my buddy drive my car 70 mph while I was on my bike. Perfect.

The chances of screwing up the calibration of the needles are zero if you don't remove the needles.
I put double sided tape on my gauges so there not in the way of the needles but they still stick. I didnt remove the needles either, the needle sticks at like 45 and jumps up to 60. If anyone has any idea y its doing this it would b greatly appreciated!

Krista: it really doesn't take much to make the needles stick, just try gluing/taping them down more and then if it's still doing it, either your cluster is messed up, which is bad (voided warranty with gauges), or your VSS, vehicle speed sensor, is inaccurate. Mess with the gauges a little bit, and then take it to your dealership and ask them to just check the VSS only, and if that's okay, it has to be the cluster.
Thanks for the help RiceBurnrEX....Im gonna install a reverse indiglo gauge this weekend (the blue/green indiglo gauge is to bright for me) so I will mess with the needles when I do that! If that doesnt work I guess its off to the dealership
