i dont think its any shorter than stock its been on so long i dont remember what the stock one feels like, the hole is not too noticable, i like it bc its not like the ordinary ball, or cylindrical shifters out there.

Thanks guys... I was also buying it for the looks, but wanted to make sure it was also functional. I'm looking at the Red Alcantara one... it matches the red Momo pedals I have. I'm not going to get the boot right away, but in due time I will.
my friend has one.. it feels nice, but if you the kinda guy who picks at stuff without knowing, gauaranteed the leather is finshed...my friends pickes at it while he's driving and it's all messed up now...
I have a F16 which has like a slit in it and ive driven my friends CL which has a raptor and i love both of them. They feel good and the hole is just really cool, it doesnt affect function at all. i dont there is any significant change in height from the stock one though. Just get a Revo SS if u want it lower, and that way u dont even really need to buy a $50 shift boot cus u can use the stock one cus it will cover up everything.
Tell me what you don't like about yourself....
