Revo Short Shifter
I just installed my Revo Short Shifter today that my g/f got me for my birthday. I love the short throws and such, might be getting the shifter bushings soon. But everything i shift i hear a rattle...what can that be? It sounds like its coming from the short shifter.
Yah, mine did the same....its the metal clip on the right cable......IT doesn't seem to fit around the plastic base of the REVO as well as the OEM........I squeezed it with some pliars.........I love my Revo..
Yah the Revo SS we're talking about is a full replacement......All the Adapter out there(DC, solo, neuspeed) just relocate your cable....The Revo has the adapter built in to the stick, is shorter, and tighter.......If you want the full replacement get the REVO.....product link.....Tornactive has them for $90......as well as many other goodies for us 7thgens............If you want more info on REVO on this site,,just click the search button and type in REVO(remember to select all categories),,you'll get all the info you'll ever need on this product.........
HaHA beat you by 23 seconds......MUhahahahahahhahahahha
I have the Solo SS in my car and i like it i think it is Great one of the frist things on got put on my car and to this day i and happy i did got it. Plue i xan say it looks a hell of a lot easier to put in to Lol just a few cuts and Bam in it was. That is just my opion tho
Yeah the Revo is Great....I also got the kumo sport bushings but im not exactly sure what this does ... and about the clicking sound i got that too and i think it sounds cool

Yep, I had the same problem with the gold clip in the front making noise. I just busted a nut squeezing it with pliers so it fit the cable tighter. Do that and wedge a piece of foam or tape to keep it from moving. Still love mine. Although, now that I have had it for awhile, the throws feel long again. Need an indy style shifter. You guys with the Revo SS might also want to try this: Revo Technica Short Shifter Upgrade Kit
I also have the Kumosports Bushings set. It helped in making the shifting tighter and more precise.
Grey, I already bought your upgrade kit, well, kinda. I just remembered that I still owe you money for it since you didn't take the paypal. So, I'm gonna send you $5.00 instead. Damn, I had totally forgot about that. I guess you're not stressing it since you haven't said anything, but your money will come soon enough. I promise!
BTW, the upgrade kit that Grey is selling takes care of the "clanging-around sound" when shifting gears. Also makes the shifter a bit stiffer.

Oh, whoops! I knew that someone didn't pay me yet, but I didn't know who. PM me if you need my address or anything...
Anyway, this upgrade is rather good. It takes care of two issues with the Revo. Those stupid clips that aren't supposed to be reused and the slop produced by the gap where the cable linkage attaches to the shifter.
