will something like this help my car
u can mount it pretty much anywhere in the car, in the dash, glove compartment, ceiling....etc.... im not sure about the wiring to the car tho, but yes there are ppl on this site that have them...i believe 1sickcivic has one, look in members rides
To tell you the truth, they are nothing more than something cool to look at unless you have forced induction. (Turbo or nitrous) Once you have forced induction, then you can use it to tune your car to proper fuel and air ratio needs. All it'll do for you right now is burn a hole in your pocket.
Captain is not entirly correct.
Simple format:
An intake can add about 5-8hp right?..KEYWORD>>CAN
How much of the CAN power is accutally processing through the wheels?..Eh I dont kno.
With the S-AFC the more mods you put on, even a simple intake you can get the most power out of it because the S-AFC is an ecu itself that taps into ur air/fuel in ur civic. I/H/E has the ability to work really well together but without the proper air/fuel ratio flowin through them they can't pull out all the best potential power it's supposed to pull out.
Get the S-AFC and control the flow and you'll see the mods you put on can pull out as much horsepower it can.

My point exactly, whats the point of dropping 300+ into your car for maybe a few ponies. Unless you have something as great as forced induction or ALOT of mods, you wont get any great numbers out of it. My friend has a turbo 94 civic. He has one......it does wonders with his car. Its just the facts.
the only time you need more fuel is if you have more air. and i mean alot more air, not an intake. if you have a turbo or nitrous then you need more fuel cuz you have a lot more air. don't waste your money, get nitrous.
