Which Muffler to get?
That's right. I'm on a tight budget and I want to get a muffler that will not sound ricey. I want it to sound like a magnaflow or dc tcs. Any recommendations? links?
Thanks guys,
Alex
edit: what about this one?
or this?
or even this??

for 7thgencivics, personally i have tried magnaflow and thermal...
i had the magnaflow for about a month and it sounded nice not to loud...i liked it...
i got a good deal on a thermal so i took it...after installing the thermal a felt a significant increase in torque, i didn't dyno between the two so i cant give u specific numbers but i felt the difference...the tone i liked a lot better on the thermal it was much deeper and slightly louder.
another thing i like about the thermal is it comes with a dual wall exhaust tip...and what it does is it stays cool, even cool enuff to touch...the magnaflow didnt and a couple minutes of warming up the car and that tip was "HOT" and FYI hot exhaust tips have a tendency to melt plastic...
and remember you get what you payfor...

getting just a muffler isn't going to increase your torque or increase horsepower. Maybe very little but not so much you'll be pushed back in your seat. Anyway, I have a N1 Style (little smaller in size) axle back muffler for sale, I'm selling it for $100 shipped. No extra equipment needed and is very easy to install. If you're interested, drop me a email at gshockbreaker@yahoo.com
