Hyperwhite bulb poll
Hello all, just wondering if I could get everyones opinions on the hyper white bulbs they have purchased.
Post like so...
Brand Name - Pros and Cons
thanks, I am in the market and want your help on my decision. I personally think PIAA is overrated so help prove me wrong (or right!)

I have bought:
Generic - Pro: cheap
Con: Not as hyper white as you want them to be.
APC - Pro: cheap, looks decent
Con: Still not really hyper white, slightly brighter than stock
Polarg - Pro: *TRULY* hyper white, looks good!!! Spend the extra money and get these *only*
Con: yes they are a bit more expensive, but trust me... you will be satisfied.
Conclusion: Polarg all the way! www.autodynamic.com

Give Philips Vision Plus a try, they really put a lot of light on the road. Not as "hyper white" as those PIAA and PIAA wannabes. But they actually put light on the road.
Or try Sylvania Cool Blue or Philips BlueVision.

sylvania cool blues
30 bucks for the set.
Pretty bright and light up the road very well. Not a crystal clear white light on the road but pretty darn close. Have lasted for several months....I love them.

PIAA I am running the PIAA Super White now and I like the output they have on the road. Bad part $75 and last only a year on warranty. Would rather have real hid but not possible right now.

Xenon Blue from JCWhitney.
Pros - not too expencive (like $20), bright (i got the stock bulb wattage and theyre much brighter than stock), look really nice.
Cons - none as far as i know. ive only had them for like 2 months tho, well see how long they last.

Nokya Arctic Whtie
Pros: VERY blue color, attractive price, bright
Cons: I've heard that the color fades, and they burn out quickly, but I have yet to have one fade or burn out.
GE Super Blue Halogen
Pros: Cheap, clean white light, brighter than stock
Cons: doesn't have that "tuner" look

I picked up a set of generic ones off eBay that really sucked. Then I went and got a set of the Street Glow, which were excellent bulbs and they only cost $27 for the pair. Best part, Lifetime Guarantee! If they burn out, you get new bulbs. How sweet is that? Except one of mine actually burned out, and the local shop was lazy and didn't re-order a new set for me for a while, so I bought anoteher set of bulbs (Nokya this time) off ebay and that's what I'm running now. Look great, have a bluish tint, MUCH better than stock, and they're inexpensive. Like $22 for a pair, shipped, I think. I dunno about the PIAA's - they're $75 for a pair? Good lord ..
So yeah, that's my Hyperwhite bulb story ..
Cheers!
Oh yeah, I would reccomend replacing all (as much as you can afford) your bulbs with hyperwhite, it looks sooooo much crisper at night than that ugly orange stock color. Back-up lights especially ...
