Just Installed Magnaflow!!!

Thanks to John and the groupbuy, I got the magnaflow catback shipped from Cali for only $300

I love it, it's exactly what I was looking for: Deep smooth rumble, and a high-pitched whine after 4k. I didn't want anything too loud or obnoxious, and the magnaflow is subtle enough not to annoy people, but ready and able to show its cajones when needed.

All of my friends love it and I've been getting compliments from complete strangers. I know some of you may not be too thrilled with it, but I love it, and that's the most important thing. You don't have to like it, because it's not your car.

Just wanted to share my experience - see you at the Midwest meet

what until about a month of driving on it. The sound gets deeper and even better sounding. I love mine.

Well that all depends on the sound you want. I wanted a quiet, deeper, never ricey sound and that is what I got with Magnaflow. If you want something that sounds like a go-kart and draws attention from miles away, then do not get Magnaflow. In my opinion it is the best for the money. $300 full cat back shipped to your door.

I agree, love it. Is there any reason not to do away with the U-bolts and just weld the connections? Any disadvantages to doing it?

My friend has magnaflow and i noticed it got alot louder in the past month, but still not too loud. But I like the real loud deep exhausts more so i got Skunk2 which is very loud and got me pulled over.

I had 2 of the 3 connections welded on my system. The only one that is using the u-bolt is the connection at the cat. I couldn't get the other 2 to seal completely. I think the major disadvantage is that the pipes will have to be cut to remove the system. I don't know if they can heat the welds and remove them or what?

Anyhow, I love my system too! I just wish the can and tip were a little smaller.
