wing or no wing?
hey-
ok. I'm facing a dillema! I ordered the OEM spoiler and it should be in today. But after looking through the members rides, I can't decide whether to put it on. I will also have the OEM kit, konig toxxins, and a 1.5-2.0 in drop. I've always wanted the spoiler, and think it looks real nice with the stock wheels and no drop, but the more I look at the dropped rides with rims, I think it breaks up the clean, sleek look of the car. Anybody know any specific members who have dead on side shots of the spoiler on a dropped car? Man it takes a long time to look at all those rides. Well, anyway, what does everyone think?

With a OEM body kit, I think the matching OEM spoiler would look really clean.
Without the body kit, IMO the spoiler would look at of place.
Put it on, and if you like it then keep it, if not then look elsewhere. Its up to you man.

NO SPOILER!!! looks much nicer... and if u do get one, dont get the oem one... looks ugly... (sorry ppl that have it.. )
i kinda regret getting my factory spoiler now that i look back.. looks alright , but i'd rather ride without one.. oh well, but since you already ordered it, might as well put it on.

I have the OEM spoiler and I think it looks great. I think it looks much better than the 6th gens OEM spoiler. The only thing I dont like about it is when I look in my rearview mirror, I cant see who is behind me. I only see the spoiler....but that is only a minor thing.

theres some instances of cars that need spoilers, like supras, and eclipses, and mustangs, but i just don't like the way wings look on our cars. IMHO.

well, i think i'm going to put in on. If I decide later I don't like it, i'll remove it. Now what will I do with the holes in my trunk? that would need it's own thread!
how much does a new trunk lid cost?

get the OEM spoiler to go along with your oem kit
make sure you dont get those giantic aluminum wings...i dont like those thing at all and it's not like our car is so fast that we need something that big to keep the downforce

OEM Spoiler all the way I have it on my ride and it looks good. But sometimes I wonder why I had it put on but sometimes even after a clean wash I just love it but I know I wouldn't have got a aftermarket one put on after I bought the car so I am glad I did it.

I saw a big old ratty Oldsmobile the other day with the big aluminum spoiler on it & a fat pipe tip sticking out of it's butt. To me it looked too funny for words but I'm sure it had the owner dancin' in his pants for joy...
IMO - spoilers not needed on 7th gen's.

oem spoiler all the way... it gives it that sport look, but not a bad look
the oem wing is definitly the choice for me.. it looks really clean and it will look better on your oem kit than any other.....i got a oem kit for $315 included shipping from ebay and im looking into the oem wing too
look at MugenRacerX ride...he has a Rallye Red w/ the oem kit....lowered...and NO spoiler...i like it w/ no spoiler at times i wish i didnt have this spoiler..I WANT THE INTEGRA TYPE R SPOILER!!
my honda dealer was selling the trunk lid for $330, this website i can't remember (hondaautomotiveparts.com, i think) had it for $250 but they are in Rhode island and won't ship it out since it's so big. i got it for $260 though (hookup). so if you live around rhode island that place has a very good price on it
