Nokya or Piaa

Has anyone had to replace theirs yet?? and if so. . how long have you had them in your car??? When do you know to replace them, when it just stops to light or when the light blows??

i have had the nokya artic purple 90/100's installed for over a year and a half, correctly installed they will last as long as OEMs i think

that is true. i may not be relevant to this but i have a farenheit hyper white xenons and with the proper installation, i also think it will last as long as OEMs.

With lights it's easy to tell..

Light comes on = good

Light doesn't come on = bad, bulb needs replacement. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]

well I dont know much about nokya

but I bought the sylvania cool blue

and I bought piaa super plasma bulbs


there is a BIG DIFFERERENCE in color

the piaa's are purplish/bluish while

the cool blue's are just like stock bulbs

I thought I read in one of these threads that cool blue's were

good, but I beg to differ

go PIAA!!

I have these Polarg VIP Style

They are the same as the PIAA Super Plasmas, but they don't have that yellow line of light..... They are VERY Purple/White.. I love em

i would go with piaa... they're a little more expensive but they've been in the game a lot longer than nokya has..

even though i got some nokyas on my car, piaa are higher quality..thats why they cost a lil more. but i'm not that rich, so i guess the nokyas will do..until i'm through with this import scene [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

THat's weird... I remembered reading a few threads about how Piaa bulbs blew out alot for our cars. You might wanna do a search and check up on some old threads if there still there. Or maybe that was just with projectors that they had problems. I myself have hipers and ppl love the way they look. Alot cheaper too.

Well I had the Xtreme wedge bulbs blow out under 2 mths but I got them replaced and I have had my headlights for almost a yr now so they work good. I would say PIAA

yeah, i hear the super plasmas tend to explode at random intervals. you'd have to blow 5 sets of nokyas before you match the cost of a set of piaa's, and I can assure you 5 sets of nokyas will (when you DON'T touch the bulb) last much, much longer than a set of piaa's. I also like the considerably more blue tint that the nokya's have.
