KONI BLOWN

I just wanted to tell everyone that you can blow your Konis. The right rear side of my car was bottoming out on everybump that I hit. I have Ground Control and Konis. I finally bought another Koni and the bottoming out stopped. I guess shock was blown. When I looked at it I didn't see any oil on it. But I'm guessing it is blown. Is it covered under warranty

Hmm... they should cover it. A lot of times manufacturers won't cover blown shocks on cars that are lowered past a certain point.

I was told it was because I had it to stiff. But isn't that what adjustables are for

When you set it at the firmest settings and have any drop more than 1.0, you have to avoid bumps otherwise it COULD ruin your suspension. Usually the only time you should set it at the firmest is when you go autocrossing because the roads on those type of courses are smooth. Atleast from what I hear.

Boost, my car is riding a lot better now. Try to give me a price on the DC Sports ceramic header and Kaminari front with the WW sides and rear.

whatever he wants it to be. The shocks are adjustable from smooth to firm.

I drive it on smooth. It is better for everyday driving but if you want to go to the track or street race then you can adjust it to whatever you like.

Toolowcivic, I was wondering where you got your KONIs and stuff installed. I am looking for somewhere cheap to get it down and find somebody to help me install them. I do not mind getting dirty. By the way, I am in Houston.
