would it be worthless puttin an sri on my manual ex because i dont want to have to deal with all the trouble with a cai

What trouble with CAI? The install might be slightly harder but dollar for dollar you get a lot more out of the CAI then the SRI.

CAI is much better than SRI. If you have a stick go for it, don't be afraid. I was before and I wrote AEM, they might not be telling the truth but they said it won't work. You have to buy a CAI then don't use the lower pipe. Connect the filter to the top. For that price, get an Injen SRI or Hayame.

aight, i aint gonna be no punk bitch, ill go for the cai when i can but do u guys know if its the same installation for the ex as it is for the lx cuz the diy on here looks pretty helpful. thanks for the info
