hey, I went to college hills honda and looked at shiftknobs

Are these instructions correct at the bottom of the page?
how do you "Simply pull down the shifter boot"
I cant imagine it, I was trying to unscrew the ****, but I noticed the boot moved as well
can anyone shed some light??

There are two retainers holding the boot ring at the 12 and 6 o' clock positions. Simply squeeze both of these and pull down on the ring...voilá, unscrew your old ****.
Edit: Actually, now that I think about it, I had to squeeze the ring at both the 3 and 9 o' clock positions to get the retainers to release.

and are you actually taking off the "fabric" from the **** itself?
I know that the only thing that is holding the fabric is the "****" and the "thing that is below the **** and fabric"
