Has anyone out there ever lost the gas cap to our cars and had to buy another one. It's ridiculous. The one for the accords is only about $8-$9. Ours cost f**king $28. That is unreal. I'll never lose that thing again. They need to come up with some sort of attaching device. Cause i know i'm not the only forgetful person.

Rep Power: 0 I don't know. I just went straight to the dealer. He said they cost so much because of the suction or air pressure or something like that.

Rep Power: 0 i'm never going to get anything from honda that isn't under warranty ever again. I think they know your going to lose it and that's why they make them so expensive. It's a conspiracy i tell you.

Rep Power: 0 have you tried looking in advanced autoparts, or some kind of store like that yet? i'm sure you can find some kind of universal cap, our civics aren't that f-ing special.

Rep Power: 0 28 bucks for a gas cap!!!! What BS. I love going to the Honda parts counter and asking for prices on stupid ripoff factory parts and then laughing at their ridiculous prices.
