Is this possible? id post a pic of have but uhh i dunno how so lemme explain. The hinges r on the TOP of the car so that the door opens from the bottom to the top. Is this possible with our current doors? or would we need new doors? for ex: r our doors to heavy to do this. I think it looks sweet but have no idea. I searched and got the thread bout suicide doors but no info. Would appreciate any info u have?

I think the attachment point would have to be on a part of the door that is strong enough to support its weight. The top is no good. The corner wher the regular hinge is is the best. You could have them flip up like a lambourghini's. You could have them flip back too. You'de need to fabricate some kind of re-inforcement if you wanted them to open op to the top.

i see, heck i dont even know of a shop that could pull a stunt like this anyway. Lamborgini look is nice, but i thing the GW look is SOOO fine!! But Grey u think that i would have to have it reinforced to even consider pullin this off?

Yes! The stock surround is very flimsy, just take a look at it. You'de need to grab the doors by the hinge locations. I have no idea how the hell people do this mod. Too much hocus-pocus for me and the results aren't always as stunning as you'de think. I'll stick to not modifying anything that works well.

well im gonna do first things first but this mod is SWEET! noone has this here, not sayin it aint out and about but makin ur civic unique is what we want and i have NEVER seen one do this....maybe theres a reason haha. But anyone got more info? lol Grey im just gonna stare at my doors all day and ponder the idea haha....*gulf wings*
