I got the RSX **** ($29) and I really like it ! It holds the shift boot exactly the way your stock one does, so it looks perfect! With most aftermarket *****, you'll have to either wrap electrical tape on the shaft to hold the boot up, or redo the strap tie.

How would you use a cable tie to do this? I heard of someone using a washer.

I have a gun metal type R ****, it doesn't hold up the boot at all. Bak is right about electrical tape, I use some on the inside of the boot so its not visible. I am pretty sure I have a picture of it in my member's ride section.

Decamo has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Use a stiff rubber bushing! Looks factory and holds tight.

kohei - I ordered it from here:

RSX shift ****

Oh yeah, somehow they have the same part number for the 6sd RSX-S and the 5sp RSX. Call and make sure they send the 5sp one. The first one I got was the 6sp which I really liked better because the backstrap of the **** was the same color as the shift boot trim, but felt kinda stupid with the 6sp pattern on the ****. I called them and they were cool about exchanging it. They sent one out right away and sent the UPS return label also. The 5sp is just black. I love the look and feel of the RSX ****. I definitely recomend it !

Electrical tape worked fine for me, and if done neatly, it looks fine as well.

The RSX ***** are real nice. Nice OEM feel, yet sporty. I like the Type-r too. thats the one I use.

I have a few (3) in stock. You guys buy them up fast though. Been selling them (RSX ****)for $35 shipped anywhere in the US and Type-R ($20 shipped)
