hey guys im new here and basically signed u to ask this question but im sure more will follow since i took on a project that i had no idea what i was gettin into.i bought a 91 civic with a JDM 3rd gen ZC engine in it.i am a chevy guy and love my V8's but i need a cheap car to run and this car came up for 1 grand and needs a clutch and timing belt.i have been researching the engine and how to work on them for a few days and when i change the timing belt i plan on changing the water pump while i do it, my question is, what water pump do i need? i have no clue and i dont have access to mail order parts (i am in canada and customs are a bitch and not worth the problems they cause) now will a d series water pump work?of am i up a creek without a paddle? i would appreciate any info i can get as this is an oddball engine
i have driven this car before and the original builder told me the engine had some work done to it and it put out 160 hp at the wheels and has done high 14's in the quarter so im looking forward to driving it, the car has lowered springs, chassis connectors, aftermarket head and tail lights, stock rims so it is a bit of a sleeper, the only thing better than a fast car is a fast car i can actually afford to run

a little more researching found my answer, 88-91 crx water pump works for me, ill be around again, im sure this wont be the last problem in dealing with a 20 year old honda
