Civic Door Sill Plates?!?!?!?

Hey guys! A while back I was browsing through Ebay and came across some very nice door sill plates for 2 DR Civic's. Well stupid me, I didn't bid on them. Ever since then I have been looking for them and have had no luck. The sills were all chrome and Civic etched in them with two lines in the center of the plate running the whole length. These weren't those indiglo or glow in the dark cheapos. These were high quality sweet looking plates. So do you guys know of any websites or places to get these??? Thanks.

Hey I know a guy that custom makes them but you would have to get a bunch of people to buy them to make it worth his while, as it cost him quite a bit to produce just one set, alot cheaper in bulk...you can see them here

I know the're VW, but he dosent if there's enough of a market to produce these for us (civs or whatever...)

Hey those are pretty cool. Even better if he made Civic plates. I don't know how to setup group buys, but how many people would be interested in the Civic door sills??? Tricky could you possibly set up with the group since you know of this site?? Also any other knowledge of where to look is appreciated!! Thanks again.

For attaching the plates, I think the preferred and easiest method is double sided the tape. The sills I saw used that. But I was going to get fancy. Since I do sheet metal work on planes, I was going use some small flush head screws ond secure them with. Just drill holes in the corners and counter sink the holes for a professional look like they came with the car. But I hope to find them so I can do this.

Are these the sills you talk about? I know I've seen them in my accessories brochure which I can't find right now but this is a pic from honda japan site. But we have them over here in Finland too. Couldn't find them on the american honda site...
