Oh yeah, I should update that DIY. Basically the brakes are broken in and I can compare them with my sister's stock brakes. She drives a 2001 Honda Civic LX too! Anyway, mine are better. They have more bite than hers do. Although mine need to warm up before they really start to grip. I think they're still better than stock even when they're cold, although I can't be sure. That's just the pads though. I haven't really done any sort of tests with the rotors, but theoretically they should work better than the stock ones do since they'll run cooler.
Oh yeah, the ones on the Group Buy from Race Concepts are zinc coated. The ones you linked to don't seem to be and the slotted pattern isn't as good IMO (straight lines instead of curved lines).
