Question Regarding Washer LEDs
For whoever posted the DIY that's a great walkthrought thanks.
Does anyone know if they're illegal? Was thinking of getting them, they look nice.

i believe only the red and blue ones are illegal because they can accuse you of impersonating an officer
i have the white ones but only cut them on for show
they'll look real good when i clear my headlights.

Rep Power: 0 in mississippi they have prob with ALL colors cept white, i like them personally, i think they r a cool little touch, even better if u have them hooked to a switch so u can on/off them anytime. Its ur ride, if u like them $crew what anyone else says.

well..... in connecticut they are illegal. i got pulled over and a 60$ ticket for them. so dont do it man. save yerself the hassle and aggrivation from the popo. and for the ppl who think they are a "cheap" mod.... youre not driving his car so let him do what he wants. Rep Power: 0 i live in CALI. and i asked an officer, only cuz i knew him, but he claims that they're not bright enough to cause a distraction. (that's when they're considered illegal). but he said there will be those cops who don't care, and they'll give you a ticket anyway. i just hooked mines up to a switch so i can turn them off and on whenever. oh yeah...mines are red, they're really not that bright, so maybe the other colors might be brighter, i dunno. it's up to you. i rarely turn them on though, but it's just the thought of having them.

Rep Power: 0 how do i run the wires to the inside of my car to hook that **** up to a switch i need help the diy didnt really help me with that part i know its the firewall but b!tch is hard to reach and i cant really see it. is there any other ways besides the firewall to get to it?
