My cuz crashed his 00 civic so the insurance came today to check it out and they said it was a total loss so they gonna send him a check for $4,000 and they gonna pick up the car next week... So my question is that I want to put his oem wheels on my car since I have steelies with no hubs and I hate the sh!tty look... Can I do it? He told me I could but he dont know if they want the car with those wheels... What do you guys? Will it matter that I'm just swapping them?

i'm not sure about this, but when my friend crashed his car, he wanted to take out his racing seats, so he had to buy some old car seats and replace them with the racing seats that he was taking out. i think you have to replace anything that you take out from the car that was crashed.

i know a guy who rolled his Cobra a few years ago. the insurance company told him if he wanted his stuff back he was going to have to buy the car back. he broke into the body shop it was parked at and got his shifter, belts, and two rims off and they never even noticed it was missing.
