no they dont come w/ springs, and yes you can get gc coilovers with that

i heard from somewhere that the koni yellows need the OEM upper strut mounts. so does that mean if i get new struts and new springs... disassembling my stock suspension is needed? personally... i dont want to dissassemble my stock suspension so i am capable of swapping it back to stock without a spring compressor.

Basically what koni offering is just the shock catridge. You still need to use your original shock housing.
BTW, when you buy your koni, could you please give me the measurement of he shock catridge (tubing length, tubing diameter, rod diameter, extended and compress length)
